No, we pronounce the d like a t so It'd kinda be like Mort-how or Mort-hou pronounciation wise.
You also say morden in German, not morten 😉
Just like the lad above said, its a soft d if followed by other letters and a hard d, pronounced as t if it's at the end of a sentences. German likes to be complicated like that xD
