The real debate on - Other cultures - the truth
In ancient times you all know that other forces that were non european invaded right????
Anyone who is stupid enough to say "only whites lived in this time and place" are idiots. For one, say you wanted to make a darker skinned character. the byzantines had darker features and different styles of armor and yet this game tends to only have a very limited customization options. why cant i make a character with darker features or more eastern weapons? sabres are a good example. The cumans invaded bohemia and had eastern styles of armor and weapons, the moors of muslim origin invaded, the romanians lead by vlad the impaler fought with a kijil sabre and fought turks invading europe, the byzantine greeks wore scale armor and used a mixture of euro and turkish styles of armor and weapons.....

Not to mention MANY of these kingdoms also had retainers of various background. Yes im speaking of knights with mercenary or military advisors from muslim countries. It wasnt actually unheard of to see someone with african or asian features in europe. My MAIN POINTS IS

IF WE ARE MERCENARIES IN THE GAME.......... GIVE US OTHER CULTURES WEAPONS PLEASE.

get over it, joan of arc was a thing and black people did fight for european countries. watch kingdom of heaven the film. Theres an african guy in the first 15 minutes that fights for the crusaders so GET OVER IT.

The whole breakingg of immersion issue is only an issue to those stupid enough to believe all of europe was secluded from the outside world. Theres plenty of other games where you can play make believe whites only so get over it community.

More than the women or the black debate please just please ggive us ottoman or byzantine styles of armor and weapons. Mercenaries were hired from all across the world and it would GREATLY help the longevity of the game to have more equipment. I rest my case.

they don't care, they just cover their ears n eyes, using "historical accuracy" as an excuse

they are getting more upset by women being added in a video game and over mermaid skin color more than concentration camps existing in their country ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the thing is kingdom of heaven is actually somewhat historically accurate when they had a black crusader, those movies you posted are in noway historically accurate

very true. People want the history they think to be true to be true. they want a perfect little reality that they think is real but is fantasy.

a good arguement is why feel unimmersed with say a arab with a sabre in mordhau but be ok with being killed by a PEASANT WITH A LUTE LOL

She was a person you sexist. And the reason that she is famous is because she was exceptional and managed to become a leader of men despite inferior biology and the hardships of that time. If everyone could do what she did then she wouldn't be remembered at all.

Look guys, I found films with black people, this is proof they weren't uncommon.

terrible logic dude, they were EXTREMELY uncommon.

also a big part of joan of arc being historical is she was female, and a strong FEMALE leader, was noteworthy, while a male leader was common.

where are the threads asking to remove the executioners sword as it was not actually used?
i do not see them, each and every day, so "historical accuracy" is obviously not the gripe... its something else entirely.

Mate, your argument is silly. If the blacksmiths, a HIGHLY RESPECTED AND REPUTABLE JOB (seriously, blacksmith back then regularly spoke with military, dukes, ect) were all black, there wouldn't be a woeful lack of evidence of them
You mean black people can't be highly respected and reputable?
I mean you wouldn't have every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HIGH STATUS black smith in all of europe being black, AND HAVE LITTLE TO NO EVIDENCE OF BLACKS BEING COMMON.

not to mention, whyyyy would they import blacks for blacksmiths? Why wouldn't africa be a super power with their fancy metal technology?

you are full of it.

Also, why so few advancements in africa if the black people were the black smiths? metal forged the future, so why isnt africa a utopia?

don't engage the troll too earnestly ;)

yeah sorry, cant tell if its IDF, or just some poor informed black guy who only took SJW college courses with bad information.

I genuinely try to help badly informed people, but this is sad.

Also fun fact, considering linguistic differences in time, they would be more likely to be called negro smiths, or something, because black was actually adopted slang. Negro, at LEAST for the last few hundred years, was the common term for black people

Not to mention people were devisive as ♥♥♥♥ then, you could have an englishman treating a french man like dogs, because they were considered foreigners, and you think someone with entirely black skin in a place with mainly white skin would so easily integrate them and into such a high profession?

Nationality =/= race. You know nothing.
In this term, I'm speaking of race dude. By and large, back then, england was genetically english, french was genetically french, ect. multi ethnic nations were a later development.

The original Chivalry had no woman's or skin colors and nobody beats an eye. So why should Mordhau care, you bought the game because you liked the present content. Changing the core theme or immersion of the game because of people that don't like its current state will only lower the core player base. And besides there are more important things that the devs have to focus their attention like server stability and game crashes.

What do you mean noway historically accurate? They are based on history and indeed accurate. We even have evidence from BBC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN_x9o8MV1o&gl=US
LOL using the BBC as evidence. Yeah the BBC who made Queen Margaret black. They are blackwashing, which is just as bad as whitewashing, because it's false to reality and it's only pushing a politial agenda

Truth is too much for bigots, so they decide to ignore respectable international network BBC.
