Pricing of new items
Anyone else think the prices for the new painted chest pieces is a bit much? I get that they're new and painted but still, come on now.

Meh, I'm not planning on buying them anyway, the paint is scraped off. You'd think a noble man that can afford plate armour would also have the resources to take care of his armour, or a serf to do it.

'New' quite literally just paint on existing armour lol.
Exactly, they shouldn't be that much for a bit of worn off paint. If anything, it has spurred fears for people that they'll be adding a way to pay for currency
Yeah they look boring and overpriced. I hope cloaks won't cost this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much when they add them.

The pricing for the top skins is ridiculous yes. The maximilian painted chest with minimal texture changes costs more then a mace skin that looks completely different and is much cooler. Same thing for the armet plume really- insane amount of gold for a feather.

Stay in a game untill the end every map you play and you will have more gold then you can even spend in this game soon enough ffs

Lets look at the game of frontline on official servers. Lets say you get a generous average of 700 gold per game. And lets say that an average match of frontline lasts around 30 minutes. The most expensive painted chestpiece costs 50000. You would need a total of 72 matches to get 50000. That is around 35 hours of gameplay for a small texture change.

if you play this game for the cosmetics I think you are playing the wrong game. I play this game for the combat and have way more gold then I can spend, if I could I would give the gold away at this point just to shut you all up about gold and how expensive COSMETICS are.

Oh I AM playing this game for fun. Doesn't change the fact that the price of cosmetics is ridiculous. You cant even argue against that!
By the way if you don't find building new characters with new cosmetics fun doesn't mean that everyone is as boring as you.

Not my fault you don't read before you reply. I already have the cosmetics and would like to give my gold away to shut you up. "Shut up and take my money!" - Phillip J. Fry

If you played enough to get all the cosmetics you'd likely be dead by now.

It's for recognition and to set the casuals apart from the grinders and veterans.

If everyone had one then no one would want it... Why is this concept so hard to understand? If you're not good, you don't get the Plume or any other expensive stuff.

Cosmetics serve a purpose other than your fashion show. It allows players to somewhat guague their enemy's skill on the fly.

Except it just looks plain ugly. The gold cubemap for armor isn't even that gold looking, only the black cubemap is worth it and I'm getting it soon.

The problem is the pricing as well as it being a basic skincolor swap.
Economising to buy the champion's spear skin felt satisfying because it looked good and it's one of a kind. The plume looks nice but it's a shame it's stuck to a meh helmet, thank god there isn't paint on it.

A cheap paintjob shouldn't cost this much, if that's the price for basic ♥♥♥♥ like this what it's gonna be for a cloak or actually new armors.

Agreed! They are overly expensive and dont even look that good. I would rather have shiny or clean painted metal armor, I dont want to pay full price in gold for a hussar chest piece that is already scratched to sh.it

Doesn't really bother me as the painted items look garbage (IMO). I much prefer the somewhat clean look of the normal armors. I say somewhat since they aren't really clean either because all seem to have dings and dents, but it's much less noticable than the scratched paint. It would be a little better if they had alternate versions when equipping it where there was a battle worn and clean version.

I just buy the cheaper stuff for now. I'll work on the expensive stuff when I'm really getting bored of the game as it will give me something to do.
