Can a player be game-banned for ffa on duel servers?

How about get good instead of trying to score cheap kills you didn't even earn? go FFA on an actual ffa server and not a duel server. Not only will the angry players gang up on you and essentially, there will be no difference to practicing in a frontier match, but you also get banned.

FFA'ing isn't that bad honestly, from time to time I see some chill guys who FFA a few times for the laughs. FFA is bad only when salty players do/receive it.

You won't get banned from the game as a whole, but admins can ban you from individual servers. I've been banned from 11 servers over the course of about a week.

I love FFA on servers that don't list that as a rule in the server name. And I mean... the game mode IS "Deathmatch."

unless the server rules explicitly state "duel server" i doubt even in the weirdest world... it would come to anything.

I assume this is from steams TOS? Steam doesn't ban people for doing stuff in non valve games.

Thats why i said Technically, as it does follow you everywhere you go, due to the wording.

But if you technically go against the TOS when FFA'ing in a duel server with this TOS, wouldn't you also be going against the TOS just by killing someone in game? No one has fun waiting to respawn, so aren't you technically inhibiting their enjoyment? What a strange TOS... But i assume it is just worded that way so that steam can basically just ban anyone for anything without getting sued.
