Camera shake/Stutter making the game unplayable using SteamVR with Oculus Quest 2
Get an unstoppable barrage of nauseating stutters that only appear in headset where it's like the entire world just shifts for a split second then shifts back (only seen in headset not seen through the game window). It's not a performance issue as I never drop frames and have tried all different graphics settings and refresh rates. Only happens with SteamVR, I would just use oculus mode which doesn't have this problem, but I want to play the game wireless through my quest 2. Air Link is laggy and blurry while Steam link works fine and looks great on the same network.
I'll try to be as detailed as possible, Game used to run fine until recently (not sure exactly when as I play VR on and off), It doesnt happen at all on main menu and character select but when you load into home or any map/dungeon it starts, I have 0 mods, fresh installed the game and deleted game files in documents folder as well as fresh installed meta and steamvr, deleted old vortex files, tried using both steam api and oculus, did everything suggested with debug tool, would use virtual desktop but it just uses SteamVR anyways so I have the same issues. Genuinely at a loss here, the game is unplayable unless I'm tethered to a cable using oculus mode.
Not sure if it matters but forgot to mention my specs are
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RX 7900 GRE
32 GB DDR6 RAM
All drivers up to date, Game is installed on an M.2

Edit: Forgot to mention, other games work perfectly fine with steam link. Issue is specific to Blade and Sorcery in the home or any levels other than main menu.
Also tried reverting to the previous update to no avail.

Update 2 months later:
I ended up getting so frustrated with it I just gave up, when I played B&S I would just play wired in oculus mode. But over the holidays I got a Quest 3 and for some reason I no longer have the issue in steam link, or virtual desktop at all. Nothing else has changed, same PC and specs, didn't even reinstall the game. I know this isn't a solution and I'm not saying just go buy a new headset, but maybe it has something to do with resolution since it works fine on a different headset? Idk to be honest, good luck friends.

getting this exact same issue too
i would play with oculus instead of steamVR but the game launches on desktop and not in vr mode so i cant even do that
The same thing, but the stuttering started after I updated the components, a new motherboard, an AMD processor, before that there was Intel and everything was fine with it. I reinstalled the game, lowered the settings to the lowest, played on cable and without, the result is the same. I have searched many places for a solution to this problem, but I have not found it. In other games, everything works well, without stuttering.
Accessories:
Rx 7700xt
Ryzen 7 5700x
32Gb DDR5 RAM
Installed on SSD
Same issue with PICO 4
Hope next SteamVR update fix it

So, after all this time, I found a solution that at least helped me. I just disabled Asynchronous SpaceWarp in the Oculus Debug Tool, the main thing is to run it as an administrator, it is located at C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics. It may also help for Pico 4 if it has its own similar program or a way to disable Asynchronous SpaceWarp.
But I have Asynchronous SpaceWarp running on its own every time, so I have to close it before each game session :(
I forgot to mention, I have old drivers, disabling Asynchronous SpaceWarp on new ones didn't help.
Hey, i've got the same problem

My specs:
Oculus Quest 2
Rx 7900xtx
Ryzen 7 7800x3d
32Gb DDR5 6000Mhz
Installed on SSD

So what i've tried: all perfomance steps from PCVR TROUBLESHOOTING MASTER-THREAD, different link apps including oculus air/cable link, steam link, virtual desktop. After all of this doesn't helped i noticed that at ingame graphics menu i have always 2-4 frames dropped depending on my game setting. After that i started to lower sampling in game and when it touched 0.5 dropped frames started to switch between 1 and 2. Just for curiousity i wanted to see 0 frames dropped, so i started to lower my resolution and graphics as low as i can. I set graphics to Potato in VD, 20% SS in Steam and 0.5 SS ingame and even then i saw just a flicker between 0-1, which i can tell only by color changed from green to yellow as i cant read a letter at this point. Btw Gpu frame time showed ingame menu was around 200 ms and i doesn't saw any movement when i was lowering graphics, but as i know this indicator is broken

As a result problem was fixed on frames drops 1 and 0 but visuals was so bad that it is unplayable

Disable Asynchronous SpaceWarp in oculus debug tool, just make sure when you log into the game that ASW is disabled, if it turns on, exit the game and turn it off and go back into the game. If this doesn't help, try downloading an older version of the drivers, for example, everything works fine on version 08.05.24 (this is the date), but not on the new one.

I tried already in both oculus debug tool and in virtual desktop. If i switch it to "always on" it makes perfomance worse, but turning it off doesn't fix problem, maybe it just reduces stutters.
And which driver do you mean? GPU?

Yes, the GPU, I had problems on the new version, but not on the old one.
Ok i will try tomorrow
So, i tried a few older versions and unfortunately it's not fixed the problem. Only difference i noticed that in VD performance overlay Decoding parameter went to 16 ms while on new driver it stick around 4-6 ms, but it doesn't look like it affect perfomance, at least I didn't notice a difference

Looks like the only thing left to hope for is a new game patch or driver

well.. nothing is off in your logs, both seem clean for the most part.

what is your issue again (exactly describe it if you're able to <3)

you could also throw me new logs + your options.opt file from documents/my games/blade and sorcery
