Application Load Error 3:0000065434

hihi this is my first time posting one of these.

I thought maybe I'd hop on Blade and Sorcery again after maybe a year or so. Unfortunately I'm met with this "Application Load Error 3:0000065434" every time I try to play the game. I did some digging and found that most people suggest,

1. Running steam in Admin/Compatibility mode
2. Disabling Antivirus/Letting the Software through your windows security.
3. Verifying integrity of game files.
4. Reinstalling Steam.
5. Restarting PC.

I tried all of these and none of them worked. I also tried other methods I found like putting the steam.exe file in the Blade and Sorcery folder, doing a full reinstall of the game (deleting everything related to the game.), repairing my Steam library and even doing a factory reset on my pc (which I was going to do anyways.)

If anyone has any idea how to fix this please lmk!!

Did you ever figure it out? I’ve had the same error and tried all sorts of things online. But nothing is working.

What worked for me is when you press the shutdown button on windows and then quickly press cancel before it shuts down it would let me play if I opened the game fast enough. I'm no tech expert but it seems like something running in the background was causing the error. However I didn't wanna do this all the time so I stopped trying,
