Issue: Oculus touch controllers not connecting to B&S crystal cursor on menu upon game loading on quest 2

Hi, my oculus touch controllers aren't doing anything or connecting when I load the game and am sitting at the first menu screen. I'm left looking at the options, play, and mods buttons.

- Quest 2 and controllers were purchased in 2020
- I've recently updated my quest 2 software
- I updated, then uninstalled and reinstalled B&S
- I am able to hold the select button to reposition my view from the menu, as well as access the quest 2 quick menu
- I see a floating crystal above my head that I assume is the cursor, which I cannot connect to and remains still
- I've tried other games and my controllers were perfectly fine with any other game

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not running it through a PC or anything, just the quest 2 B&S game downloadable game from the quest 2 store.. Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated, I was very eager to play this game but haven't been able to resolve the problem.
