the book is broken
when i open the book it is glitched and when i close it it just sits there and it stays there for the entire gameplay :steamthumbsdown:

To fix, remove any mods (I recommend remove all mods for now) that are breaking the game, and start a fresh save/character. You can manually wipe old saves by deleting the folder documents/mygames/bladeandsorcery. This is important, because your old save will have modded data, and this is what's causing crashes, weird effects even when the mod is removed, or long load times.

It usually takes modders a couple of days to update mods to the latest game version. When new versions drop, this is usually the situation, and it's always good practice to clear your mod folder on each update, or at the very least when you are tryna troubleshoot issues, otherwise you will never know what is a bug or broken in the game vs what is a mod breaking things.

If you have any strange issues in 11.2, even if a bit different from the book glitch, or some strange new performance issues, long loading times, this will still be the solution -> remove your mods, delete your modded save.

im assuming your on canyon sandbox if so canyon is the only map that you cant use the wave book on

and how can i fix that, cause i was playing in the outer rim mod and every custom map i join is having this issue with waves and the items

it's a known issue with the mod. this thread is unrelated to your issue

Stuck in menu
When i load up the game i cant select the OK button to go to the menu. cursor wont select it? anyone else have this problem?

11.2 messed everything up?
The 7 gb update messed up all the mods, any else have this problem? also can I revert back to 11.1?

Extremely low FPS after updating to 11.2
Just the title. Was getting around 45+ FPS previously, after updating and making no other changes I'm now getting 3-8 FPS. It doesn't seem like much was changed according to the update log so I'm confused as to why this is happening.

Annoying Load Times
no mods, fresh install, loaded onto a m.2 nvme, 3060, quad core cpu.

I have to wait ~5minutes standing in the middle of my room staring at a loading screen. That's not fun. I do plan on upgrading my cpu soon but these load times are inexcusable. Pls improve them :3

Also on the outpost map, everytime I die I have to reload the entire map. That's kind of stupid.

Options Book Doesn´t Spawn Right
The Options Book Doesn´t Spawn at my Left hand. It just spawns in my torso its wierd i can change anything. I Tried a 100% Clean Install and still doesn´t work.

11.2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up eveyrthing for me too. I made a post about it as well and other people have issues. Booking not spawning right, long load times, fps drops, broken mods. You arent alone.

I am also having this issue. I'm not sure if it is related to any mods I am using, but the book spawns behind me, and apparently blank. I used play-space edit to check it and no menu items were present.

Upon purging my mods the book spawned just fine. So the issue is mod related it seems. I believe it is likely related to any mods that make use of the menu book like Pact of Punishment, Sectory, and the Ice Spell. I'm exploring this now

It seems any and all mods that make use of the book will break it in one way or another. The worse one for me was the Ice Spell, making the book unusable entirely as it did not show any menu items.
Pact of Punishment - Book spawns inside of me
Sectory - No problems over-all but the Sectory page is blank

I do Belive it is Ice Spell, because this is the Only mod that i also have installed and when i delete it it works perfectly fine

Yes, I updated all my mods through vortex. I only use a few. theyre all apparently compatible. but I cant shoot blasters anymore in outer rim. Not to mention 11.2's swinging mechanics are really screwed up. my sword feels heavier than my hand when swinging and my hand turns inside out during the swing. oh well.
