Visual artifacts on the edge of displays while playing (G2, pics included)
Yeah so gradually while playing dungeons I get these awful artifacts on the edges of my screen that are visible and cause lense glare coming from all corners.
I've included pics here https://imgur.com/a/J3HVrY3
I tried my best to get my camera in focus at these weird angles.

Also note that WMR has a feature that is removes artifacts at the edge of the display. This does nothing and seems to only present itself in this game from what I've seen.

Im having the exact same issue on my G2. Remember this from Skyrim Vr and Fallout4 VR where you could eliminate this annoying problem via ini tweaks.
There it would stay on your displays too every time youd get hit but it could be resolved by setting the so called "hidden area mesh" off in the ini.

I have this exact same bug, i tryd multiple VR games. All work fine without the artifact appearing, this only appears on U10, not U9 / U8 or other games.

Im using a Oculus Rift VC1

I had the exact same issue before with an early acces game, the game is called " hard bullet " the latest so called " physics update " introduced the exact same visual bug.

I assume it has to do with FOV, i notice that once i move my arm over the left or right handed slot (the weapon slot that shows the white square) the whitness persists in the exact same corner you showed in the picture.

These bugs worry me from time to time, u recon some bugs would even hurt your hardware ?.. this is early acces after all, and we are the company's free beta testers in the long run..

Thats it, thanks for working on it!

Ill re instate the question since im still a tad worryd about it,

" do bugs / glitches / artifacts like these, permiate beyond a graphical defect and are able to cause hardware defects ? "

Im wary when it comes to finding bugs like these, the 3080 new world GPU breaking bug does keep me wary for EA games and the vague way of evading questions like the one stated before don't help my fear of the worst.

Still happens on my Index. Going into the water in the home area in U11 (stable) does it, and other things with bloom cause it, like fire impact.

Is this still on the backlog, or is it assumed to be fixed?

Bumping to see if this is assumed fixed?
