Blade & Sorcery

Blade & Sorcery

My Book won't open
when I press the button for the book it just doesn't open. From time to time I can see the entity of the book when I die, but it is just floating not on my hand but just straight up floating in a still position and I can't interact with it. This is after I downloaded a few mods but then I uninstalled those mods, then the book problem was still there. After that I uninstalled and installed the game then the book problem was the same.

Okay so, I am HORRIBLE and I mean GARBAGE at computer ♥♥♥♥, I just have a laptop to play video games on nothing more so can you please tell me how do I get to "C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\BladeAndSorcery"? Also, sorry it took me so long to respond I haven't been playing for a long time I was busy:steambored:

Step 1: find the Windows Explorer.
It should be a little folder symbol in the bottom of your screen. Double click it.

Step 2: after opening it, find the "my computer c:" or "this computer c:" line. Double click it.
More lines should appear.

Step 3: follow through the path.
So after clicking on "c:" (c: means it's your main hard drive), Look for "Users" -> double click. Then look for your username -> double click. Then Look for "documents" -> double click. Then look for "my games" -> double click.
Then you should see the "Blade & Sorcery" folder.

Step 4: right-click in the "Blade & Sorcery" folder. A menu should appear. Select "delete folder".

And that's it.
On starting the game, the folder will be recreated by the game, but without the foul information that ruins your game.

Every time you reinstall Blade & Sorcery, follow through these steps to thoroughly delete corrupted information (caused by conflicting mods or similar).

I've been on vacation for a very.. very long time and didn't bring my laptop and recently came back a week ago. So I wanted to thank you for this, it means a lot!

When reinstalling, did you delete the "Blade& Sorcery" file under C:\[Username]\documents\...?

It could be a mod issue in which the solution would be as doc was mentioning above. Give this a try - https://steamcommunity.com/app/629730/discussions/2/2450469119947281759/

I do not know, I just uninstalled through steam and then installed again. I did not look at the Blade and Sorcery files besides the mod ones to delete beforehand not involving deleting the game itself

Do check out that link I posted above, because the folder to remove is not the same as your mod directory or game installation path. It is where you save and configs are. Mods can mess these files up, even when yo remove the mods, so you have to delete the save/config folder.
