Weapon and Hands collision
Sometimes weapons seems to just phase through each other if I swing with even the lightest force, my hands also sometimes completely just don't collide with enemies and phase through certain enemies occasionally, I can still grab them but my hands refuse to collide, almost as if they're a ghost

Hey! The issue being caused here is that if you swing your blade too fast you might encounter phasing weapons because the motion was too fast for the collision frame to detect, and the weapons pass through each other.

It is rare to experience this unless you are swinging super fast though, with the exception of the following factors --

Thinner weapons (rapiers, eg) will experience it more likely because they are simply thinner, and so have less collision detection potentials. The same with mods for lightsabers, etc. I recall it being an issue for a lightsaber mod (cant recall if it was TOR or another lightsaber mod) because obviously you want the lightsabers to be thin like the movies, but the modder found the problem was the sabers would not clash easily when so thin, so blocking was impossible. The counter was to make the lightsabers bulky, but then they looks like baseball bats...

The second thing that impacts this is if you have "physics quality" set to low, it is much more likely to happen because that setting further reduces the amount of collision frames (in order to help CPU).

Hmm alright, but what abouts my hands managing to phase through certain enemies no matter what speed or anything, My hands literally do not collide with certain enemies that have spawned in which obviously doesn't seem correct.

- I've had this happen very rarely, I think its a glitch. Swords and weapons collide with them fine, but fists phase through no matter what. I've only ever encountered it twice though

It's an extremely common occurance for me, almost to the point where it ruins hand to hand

This sounds broken! Are you sure a mod has not messed up your game?

I could try it without mods, but I vaguely remember doing that and it persisted. Not sure though

Yeah try without mods, and also do this - https://steamcommunity.com/app/629730/discussions/2/2450469119947281759/ which will purge modded data from your save.

the same problem is happening with me, but i have physics quality set to high and it still happens. It usually happens when an enemy has a rapier (which you mentioned) but also happens with every other weapon, even maces. another thing that happens to me is that sometimes the enemy's' attack just doesn't get blocked, even though It hit my blade. I would also like to take this chance to inform you that almost all duel handed attacks enemy's use are completely unblockable, which really takes you out of the moment as you just have to either kill them or get out of the way.

Hey, that actually sounds quite broken! Are you sure you are not using mods? There are actually no dual-handed animations in the game, but I recall there was a mod to add this. But mods that change AI or animations also adjust the speeds of enemy attacks, so this could be why you are experiencing broken things. Could you make sure you have no mods installed and then try the solution I posted in the post just above your comment (do this regardless if you have active mods).

is there a way to improve that even more I alredy have physics quality on high but still anoying to slow dow the hits to not phase trought? like increase the amount of collision frame or a mod that estimates the cut based in the start and end position (i know its been 2 years but I still having problens with this)
