Blade & Sorcery

Can this game really be THAT CPU-intensive?
I was looking through the other issues posts for FPS fix and apparently the game is CPU-intensive. But when I play I get the same FPS (4-20 with frequent tears and stutters) whether I have graphics near maximum or bare minimum. I have a 3060ti and Ryzen 7 1800X, surely it can't be that demanding that my PC can't handle it?

Its just not fully optimised yet, hence early access.

Apparently, it doesn't make full use of hyperthreading from your cores, which might partially explain why, no matter if you have a high end or a low-end build, we all get frequent stutters and tearing when too much is going on at one time.

Hey Gamble! Yeah it is CPU-intensive but you are right, not that intensive lol. Like Helleuphoria was saying, any system can still suffer the odd performance spike, but if you are getting 4FPS then something is wrong.

My guess would be this is what is wrong - https://steamcommunity.com/app/629730/discussions/2/2450469119947281759/ Can you try this and lmk?

Thank you Baron, around 40+ FPS on high graphics and much fewer stutters now.

Ok good start! If you don't mind lowering the settings a bit, the ones that will mega help are:

Physics quality to low (don't worry, you will hardly notice)
Persistent bodies to 1
MSAA - off

And if you are still struggling

Render Scale - 0.75 (visual hit, but only more noticeable on text)
