Pointer Disappears

Hello together,
today my pointer is disappearing the whole time.
Yesterday it happened just a few times. Then it worked properly.
Today I started the game and when I point on something in the menu it disappears and I cant click anything. After some seconds it appears again. Same thing in the hideout or on a map, just worse.

Can you tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?
If you have questions feel free to ask. I try to help you too.

Are you using a Quest by any chance?

Something to check is are you clicked into the B&S application when it launches? You can only have either your VR controllers or your PC mouse active at any time, so if you clicked out of the game window onto your PC desktop (etc) that would disable your pointers. Could it be this?

Thank you for the answer! I don't think it's because of mods in my case. In the meanwhile I have a few mods. But the problem started already before I had mods. The intensity of the disappearance is pretty random. The last time I played it was pretty less often. I really don't know where it comes from.

Huh, yeah that is weird. Are you using the Quest by any chance? A couple months back there was a bug that could not be recreated of people with disappearing pointers but it was impossible to track down, however it mainly seemed to be an issue for people using a Quest (which is tricky because Quest is not supported). I think there was only like one other report I heard of it on Vive, and the rest Quest.

For those people it tended to be random, so it was even harder to pin down. It would happen randomly or sometimes restarting fixed it.

Well hopefully this is not your issue. Do try the solution above just in case it's your save/config, and just for now do remove those mods while you are testing (you can add them back later). It's not necessarily that the mods are breaking your game, but when diagnosing anything you can't properly be confident on any troubleshoot with mods because they change things, including your save file. So its a bit like trying to diagnose why your car is not running but while you have tons of custom made car parts installed.

Oh! And sorry, I didn't answer you that. I'm using the Oculus Rift S.
Today I played the game two times. Today morning, where the pointer annoyed me like hell. And about an hour ago the second time, where the pointer didn't disappear a single time.

At the second time I played the game I first started Steam VR. And then IN Steam VR I started Blade & Sorcery. That was where the pointer didn't disappear. Maybe this is an idea. I try to start the game the next times the same way.

Ugh, yeah that sounds annoying. The worst part is it is not reproduceable and inconsistent. Only a small few people experience it and you are the first I have heard on the Rift S. It shows in no logs, and even people who experience it do so randomly. It's the worst kind of issue to diagnose.

This is interesting though! If it consistently works this way, maybe this is a clue to the answer?

same for me but when i start the game to go to the starter house
its just saying Despawning 11% and if i click anything it goes to the menu with out a pointer

The game is unplayable for me right now due to disappearing pointer/cursor in game. I can't access any menus or click on any of the book spawn stuff in arena. It works fine until I win my first fight, then no cursor until I force quit.
