(SOLVED) Stuck on loading screen from start from a mod, cant delete it

So i downloaded a mjolnir mod for the game through the vortex launcher and it was causing the game to get stuck on the loading screen. I deleted the mod off the mod launcher but it is still in my game files even after i uninstalled the game, verified game cache, and switch beta versions. I also tried to delete it straight up in the files but it just says it is no longer located in the file even though it's there.

Yes, all Mjolnir mods so far are notoriously glitchy. Check out this thread and especially this post there for some guidelines on how to remove the Mjolnir mod.

I tried the way this person did and it still says it can't find where it's located

I've tried using almost every method and every time it says the file can't be located, if there is anything that someone can come up with to help me it will be greatly appreciated

use winrar or 7zip and locate you file and press Shift+del on it and it will go away

thank you i looked it up in winrar and i was able to delete it

Good to hear that! Just a small hint BTW: shift+del works in windows itself as well, it fully deletes files and folders without moving to recycled bin first, which may be useful in some situations.

Hey guys so I’ve been having this problem too, where I just downloaded 3 mods, god of war for u8.3, simple disemblebnt, and a captain america shield and its always stuck in loading screen, how do I fix it

Hey skippy, make sure that the mods you downloaded are made for the same version of the game you have. So if you have game version 8.3, make sure all mods are working with 8.3. Then after doing that, follow the guide for infinite loading from the pinned topic. https://steamcommunity.com/app/629730/discussions/2/2450469119947281759/
