"Until you fall" is also quite a nice stopgap game until this issue gets resolved.
Sadly I have not tried Blade & Sorcery in some time due to the issues. Hopefully future updates resolve the problem because as it stands the game is quite frustrating to play (never knowing if its gonna drop the out of the character or not in a session is an effective motivation killer). That being said, I do really enjoy this game and would love to be able to enjoy playing it again. If I get around to trying it again and notice anything I think will be helpful I will report it.
Months later I now have the Vive Index and the problems are the same.
The out of body experiences persist using these hardware configs:
Vive pro + Lighthouse v1
Vive pro + Lighthouse v2
Vive Pro + Wireless + Lighthouse v2
Vive Index + Lighthouse v2

A Canvas named "Canvas" with a render mode of ScreenSpaceOverlay is being used while VR is also enabled. This Canvas will continue to incur a rendering cost, but will not be visible while in VR. Is this intentional?

OP might be describing an issue that occurs when sometimes you load the game your view is locked facing forward, and you can move up down left right but not turn your head. It can be fixed by pressing the pause button (steam menu button) on and off again, which is why I think he might have been referring to this issue. But annoyingly it will occur again for each load, so you gotta press pause on and off again. I believe it is a Unity issue though I'm not positive the cause, but it has always occurred for me with mods installed, and removing my mods fixes it.
So can anyone who is in this thread try this - remove all your mods (if you have any) and then go and delete the entire folder located at Documents/mygames/BladeAndSorcery. (this is not the same as your install directory). Then launch the game and see if it fixes your issue.
If this isn't your issue or the above didn't fix it, can you make a new help thread and explain exactly what the problem is you are experiencing with as much detail describing it as possible. If I don't know the answer to it, I will try get more help from the developer of the game himself (I'm the community manager). I'll lock this thread for now though so it doesn't keep getting necrod.
My foot, your face made a thread here https://steamcommunity.com/app/629730/discussions/2/2952629277995943389/ with the fix for him being to update his headset firmware.
