Cant launch because Windows defender thinks it has a virus

When i try and launch the game or verify the files windows defender says its not safe because of Trojan:Script/Cloxer.A!cl virus in the files and steam says corrupt files.
Dont know why it suddenly started didnt have it yesterday and i have tried reinstalling

Also started happening to me as well. Windows defender: "Trojan:Win32:Woreflint.A!cl"

Also having startup crashes (Game runs for around 10 seconds, then locks/unresponsive) due to repeated file corruption. Even after whitelisting the files and game. Unplayable currently.

This is odd. I've had the game since launch, and this has not happened until just now.

Absolutely no idea about this guys. As I say, nothing has updated so why this is happening now is weird. Kospy is gonna send a message to inquire about it. Could it have been someone who hates the game false flagged the exe?

Windows Defender just flagged it for me as well. Scared me for a second. Is any other AV program jumping on it because it may just be a bug with WD if not.

Just to chime in, bought the game today and had this issue on a fresh install. Had to disable Windows Defender to play.

That said, worth it. Didn't play long cause it's late, but had a lot of fun!

Thanks for the reports, guys. It's 100% on kospy's radar and he is looking into it. Seems like the problem is just Windows Defender.

I know some people have sent in like the files to windows defender and have them verify its virus free and then they marked the game as not dangerous
