having problems on Oculus
hey. i seem to have problems with my controllers or something. i can not for some strange reason clench my fists... and i really would like to do that. pluss my oculus is not very responsive. it does not respond to movement that well all the time. i move but it reacts after i have moved and THEN moves my hand in game to where my real hand now is. any idea why that is?

sorry for asking so many questions. it just annoys me when i can't figure out a game. i'm normaly very good with games. but VR is a whole new area for me. :P

When you say "doesn't respond to movement", I'm curious how serious it is. If it's like dramatically delayed controller inputs it could be your system choking but I am guessing you are referring more to the "lag" between your real controller position and the weapon in your avatars hand. You might not have known the game has weighted weapons as an "anti-wiggle sword" incentive, so your controllers don't match the weapon in your character's hand 1:1. There's tons of topics talking about this all over steam, discord and reddit so I won't go into it here for the millionth time. :steamhappy:

The grip is weird... Do you have the game "in focus" (clicked on the game and not clicked elsewhere like in a windows folder" or do you have "click to grip" enabled in the options instead of "hold to grip"? Does that grip problem exist only with B&S or with other games too? And no mods installed?

Personally it only happens in blade and sorcery on the oculus menu and any and every other game it works perfectly for me. Also, the issue only happens with my left controller.

hey. yeah i figured the movement part out. :P but the trigger not clenching my fist is still a problem. i have hold to grip on, so i dont know if that is the problem. i have tried click to grip but nothing works. i recently changed batteries on my oculus touch controllers. but nothing helped. :( hopefully we can figure it out.

Edit: i have one mod installed. one punch mod. and thats it. and the problem only persists in B&S. and i have also tried the thing where i click into the game via the mouse itself. didnt work sadly. :( i love this game. but because i can't do what i really want to try it kinda makes me a bit sad. :(

Could you try remove one punch mod and clear out all remnants of mod? That mod is obsolete until the modder updates it, so that's likely your problem.

i removed the mod and all files involving the mod. still nothing. :/ can't clench my fist in game either way. i even tried to re-install the game. still nothing...

Oh I was positive it was gonna be the mod.... Can you try delete your save folder in Documents\my games\Blade & Sorcery? This will delete you character, but will also reset your options to default - maybe something is messed up in there. This might sounds stupid.. but are you pressing the right button to clench your fist? It is not the trigger button, but you hold (or press depending on your setting) the grip button, which is the same button you use for telekinesis.

I have the same problem. Another thread suggests exiting the SteamVR beta so that might help you but it doesn't help me
