Fists/Punching feels off in 1.0, also BODY CRYSTAL SKILL TREE DISCUSSION
I am PRETTY sure that in U12 fistfighting was pretty consistent and responsive (for what a VR-game can do) if not a bit too strong.

In 1.0, I barely feel that I'm punching people unless I hit them in the head (as in they take 30 quick punches to the body), both because the AI loves backing up at a pretty considerable pace and the punches have been nerfed. I expected the body crystal skill tree to fix it, but it just gave me cool powers instead of making my fists stronger.

Also, because of the stretchy arms, you can extend your punches further from your arms length if you swing forward, like you have rubber arms. Which would be a funny skill in the body skill tree.

SPOILER ALERT/DISCUSSION/FEEDBACK ON THE BODY SKILL TREE:
The skills you unlock are pretty cool, but the Dive Strike barely works consistently, and it's impossible to aim your punch, if you're lucky, you can aim yourself to hopefully body slam an enemy, which could be it's intended purpose, but then what's the point of doing it with a dagger?
I believe this could be fixed by pressing the "Focus" button while looking at the direction you wanna fly to, so you can aim your attack in slow motion while you fly. Maybe it can work even if you don't have Mind Tree unlocked (I haven't unlocked anything else other than tier 1 Mind so if that's a perk then cool!) (gonna be honest this solution is kinda stinky but can't think of much because this is Flykick with extra steps and would always trigger when using Focus mid-air).
The Flykick perk does this much better.

The Martial Expertise or whatever the name is such a cool perk, but the "ripping off bodyparts" feels unintuitive, I thought for about 2 hours that it was bugged because I was trying to grab, for example, the shoulder (to anchor the enemy) and the arm (to rip it off), until I figured out that you had to grab with BOTH hands the same bodypart and give a light tug.
The other part, the chopping off limbs with a karate chop it's also fun, but feels really stingy. And I don't think balance is an issue here, considering you need to hit weak armor (can't confirm if possible) or no armor at all to chop off a body part, while ripping off a body part is easy, consistent, works on armored enemies and just a tad slower. than a perfect chop. With the "Stun on head hit" perk you can easily punch the head and then rip it off.
Also, it would be cool if you could hand stab enemies, like Wesker from Resident Evil 5, maybe only in Focus mode? (I really hope this is a perk I haven't seen yet from the Mind Tree)

TL;DR: Fix Dive Strike, make chopping off limbs with Tier 3 perk of Body easier and add a hand stab to said perk

I agree with fixing Dive Strike. It makes Rocket punch into a worse version of similar skills, due to the inability to land it in the air.
