Throwing Knives in U11 (selfdmg)

While playing the U11 Beta I noticed that I would hurt my Char a lot more often, when trying to throw Knives or Daggers. Is this a bug or just some changes for the Character Model which would mean I have to adjust my motions?

I try to make sure I release the Weapon at the correct time but that does not seem to help that much at all.
