The problem I'm talking about is particular to holding the sword with both hands (in my case right hand top (near the guard) and left hand bottom (near the pommel).
I believe the problem is really that there's no way to release the grip of just the pinky and middle finger which is what you'd do in real life to be able to pull off the move.
And since I can't actually bend my wrist any further in that direction the game locks the blade at that angle.
Since current touch controllers don't allow for the neccessary accuracy in finger tracking, maybe you'd want to add an option that allows the wrists to rotate further based on relative position of the hands? :D
I haven't modded the game at all so I'm only talking about vanilla weapons. Longsword and Claymore to be exact, as those would be most suited to use the technique I'm talking about.
I've played around with all settings I thought could possibly relate to this and none solved it, so I've given up on it for now.
Luckily, this isn't a huge thing of course. I just like to use this technique IRL and found I couldn't in this game, so I thought I'd bring it up :D
