Not that the current soundtrack is bad, in fact it's kind of nostalgic for me, but I don't know about you, but this music gets the blood flowing to my limbs with the longing for battle!

Adding a system for custom music was floated by kospy, but not officially. Hopefully it could happen.

That would be pretty sweet. I mean competent and skill full combat is much like a dance. And nothing helps you get into your Flow State like music. (where you are in your zone, not missing a beat) That's why Beat Saber is so much fun. Beat saber gets you into a flow state very easily and consistently.

The problem is, of course, BS has its targets' flow fully orchestrated so it can be in perfect sync with the music. B&S however has no such thing meaning it wouldn't be as smooth and entrancing experience. But I can see what you mean, of course. After all, battle drums and music corps were invented for a reason.

As for the technical side of things, from what I understand modding a simple support for custom music might be possible so maybe one of the modders will be interested in that at some point.

is there a way to change music when fighting?

this game is damn good, when you add mod in it, mod's wave really challenging, but i do hope is there a way to change the background music when fighting? i spend hours listening to same music hahaha...

Best thing I do is just change the bgm in audio to 0 and play my own music through YT
