Mods In Game Are Broken?

I just got three weapon mods from the in-game launcher, only to find they're not consistent with the version of the game? Why would they be in the mod launcher if they aren't compatible with the game?

I'm also having other mod problems, like the michael myers knife and other modded weapons only doing 1 damage for some reason. I know this might not be the place for those since i have a bunch of things from nexus, but the in-game ones I'm really confused about

If you're on steam, they are consistent per version of the game.

Which mods specifically aren't working?

Specifically, of the handful I downloaded last night off the in-game client:

Colt Python
Colt Police 38 Special
Winchester Lever Action Rifle 1873

The error from the log in-game says they're not compatible with my current version of the game, no idea why. If you sort mods by popularity these ones are at the top, so why wouldnt they be working for me?

Very strange that they didnt work, I just checked and theyre all 1.0 mods..
for now, i'd recommend just manually installing them
and you provide your log? (you can upload to google drive or pastebin, or whatever works for you)

The player.log(or just "player" or "player-prev") file can be found here:

had to just pull a few chunks out, this log had over 11 million items in it and was crashing chrome trying to copy-paste it...so so so many errors

at that point.. I'd recommend

find where you installed the game (the default location is: `Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blade & Sorcery`)
select EVERYTHING you see in this folder, and hit the "Shift" and "Del(or Delete)" key at the same time, and click "yes"
go to `Documents/My Games/Blade and Sorcery/` and delete everything you see (if you have a Crystal Hunt save, this will remove it)
go to `AppData\LocalLow\Warpfrog` and delete everything you see
uninstall the game via steam/oculus
install the game
