How do I use armour?

Okay, so running into some problems with the game. 1: It's almost impossible to use most of the weapon slots or even find where they're meant to be

2: I have no idea how to put on the armour you find in the house and the tutorial doesn't explain it.

when you take an enemy down is it possible to take their armor?

There they are.
Dead.
Wearng nice looking armor.
i cant figure out how to rremove it?

you cant remove their armour, but you can equip armour in the house, select what you want from the book, go towards the back (opposite spinny thing) theres a mirror, flick the switch, and equip

I cant remember the exact name of the category its all in, but make sure youre in the house, and i think theres a tab to see "all" in the item book, hit that and scroll through it, youll see it eventually.

1, i recommend just getting an idea before going into combat where your holsters are, ive noticed sometimes i have to reach over my shoulders in order to actually reach those, and my hip ones i just bring my arms down from my shoulder ones, and i usually get it.

2,
Step one, get armour from book
Step two, go to mirror (directly behind you)
Step three, flip switch
Step four, take off current clothes
Step five, put on armour
