Dismemberment wasn't planned for this game until demand from players convinced the dev to add it in. We won't be getting anything more than we have now unless something changes, and even if the dev wanted gore like this the character system would have to be redone completely (again)

the gore in bloodtrail is great, but its not fitting for a melee game with magic like blade and sorcery
what may be added is bisection and broken bones

Yea blood trail gives off a more snuff feeling rather than the over the top crazy stuff b&s and gorn give off. Don't need that nope.

Blood Trail sucks, I returned that garbage game on day 1. B & S doesn't need that gimicky garbage, it's a good game on its own. Blood trail is built around the gore engine, not a game that incorporates gore. That distinction is why the game will always suck. The focus is not on an actual game, it's on showing off that stupid gore system.

It's not impossible, in the past a modder made Violence+ mod where you could break enemies jaws and nose. It was about to be updated with "Sloppy" dismemberment but Idk what happened next

Speaking as someone who appreciates excessive amounts of virtual, videogame carnage...
..."Blood Trail VR" is absolute garbage. Pure non-game snuff-film junk that brings down the medium. In my short time with it, I'm putting Blade and Sorcery down as one of the best games I've ever played. It beautifully lets me act out my brutal sword-slinging spell-casting fantasies. Mentioning it in the same breath as "Blood Trail VR" is like comparing the best of cinema to Friday the Fuggin 13th. Please don't.

Carnage is well and good (I've been hoping for years we'll get a good Soldier of Fortune spiritual successor), but that sh-- is just childish and stupid. And its developer probably knows it, too.
