I am talking efficiency. Sure, you can stab them in the head, or, take a large axe and cut them in the head.
That is also an insta kill and the tip of the sword has a loooot smaller hitbox than an axe...
I am talking specifically about one handed swords, unrelated to the tier.
Two handed are fine, axes one handed / two handed are fine.
You can't even cut someones throat with a one handed sword anymore most of the time, which was something you def could do with them in the previous version.
There are some settings you might be able to tweak to get it to work (someone was talking about arm springiness in one of the other menus other than options, I didn't try it, and it was for a different issue, but assuming theres more options like it i wager one will adjust something to fix it)
But yea, slashing with one handed weapons seems to be pretty pointless right now.
Finally a fellow player that knows what I am talking about.
Exactly as you described to the last detail. I have been playing a lot of U12 and my muscle memory was pretty solid when it came to slashing necks.
It is no longer possible with swords that easily---just like you described.
I basically replaced the one handed swords I used with axes. They seemingly adjusted them too or more like, over adjusted them.
The tier 3 war axe is absolutely OP as the back tip can pierce through plated armor and it always seems to guarantee dismemberment.
It seems hell of a lot stronger than the tier 4 one.
The balancing seems a bit off...
I hope there is a option to revert your characters strength level soon, i really prefer the u12 strength than the 1.0 strength
