Magic is getting slower as game progresses?

So when i got my 1st fireball spell i could fire 1 ball about every 2 secs. now it takes 6 secs to make 1 fireball. all my spells are doingthis as i progress with the game? whats going on? what am i missing?

Some armour types slow magic.

Also, holding the imbued staff in one hand reduces a cast time in another.

More armour = slower spell cast. A knight with a flamethrower is a bit op innit m8

Check you inventory to see your stats, if you have heavy armor you got more defense and less spell casting.

If you want to use spells, then you should buy acolyte armor or the lower tier from that armor idc the name right now

For some reason one hand is significantly slower than the other. My left hand takes 2 secs to charge lighting and my right takes about 6

Its the armor heavy armor = slow magic casting
