Left handed option
I found a few older threads on this but they never seemed to give an answer. I looked through several pages in all sections and used the search function.

I am severely left handed as far as agility goes. I know I can change my pointer to the left hand etc. but the default set up for fighting (in a fighting game) is difficult.

Is there a way to flip this?

Why is it a problem?

Shields - If I equip one I have to shift hands and sometimes end up dropping it. If the shield goes the left hand (default for right handed people) you don't have to hold the grip to keep it. Once I switch it to the left I end up dropping it occasionally.

Bow and arrows. Firing with the bow in the right is pretty awkward for a left hander depending on your dominant eye. If you switch the bow to the left your quiver is over left shoulder so you are reaching across etc.

Is there any plan to support this in the future. I don't know enough about coding to know how hard it would be to reverse the sides.

All of these are non issues. When you spawn something it defaults to the left hand with everything, and you don't need to hold it unless you press the grip button. If you don't want to hold grip otherwise there's an option for that in the menu. You can put the bow and quiver on the shoulder you choose and use which ever hand to reach over. You can hold the bow on either hand you want too. Btw us lefties hold bows in our right hand. The left handed options in this game are perfect.

I see what you are saying. If I can put things where ever I want it shouldn't matter.

I do hold the bow in my right in VR games but not in real life since I am right eye dominant. I will take a look at the grip options. It was mostly the shield that I felt was frustrating. When I spawned onto the left I didn't have to grip it. When I transferred it I did.

I was pretty sure with the quiver I could only put it on the one shoulder but I will try again.

Thanks for the response! Maybe i should have spawned the axe first and then the shield?

The movement is permanently bound to the left stick, though.

You can put quiver onto your hip as well, but it is incredibly awkward to use this way.

You can change that too in the option menu

Fair enough. In this case there will be no issues with left handed play.
