I literally just thought about playing B&S again recently to play some Runescape mods only to find out that the recent 1.0 update has messed everything up. I'm also hoping for a speedy mod recovery.

You could always roll Back to u12.3, i guess.
Rightclick B&S in your Steam inventory, choose "betas" and then "U12.3" and your old mods should be working again, just like the update never happened.
Unless, of course, the mods have been updated to 1.0 in the meantime...
