Anyone else find the golem easy to beat?
jump on, fist his gems and hop off while he does his fire/electricity "♥♥♥♥ off" ability, go break the crystals and hop back on to slap his pp

Yeah pretty much, if you've got a strong stomach and can handle being tossed around by him the fight is done within 5 minutes

I'm on the 4th or 5th golem run and just getting fire aoe attacks spammed at me so I can't do anything. Don't know how everyone else is having such an easy time...

Hate to break it to you man
But that just seems like a skill issue
I've actually never died to the Golem.

What skill makes the golem stop spinning with flamethrowers?

None of them, looks like the guy is trying to rile you up.

You're just getting really bad luck, i assume you are trying to jump from above onto him aswell correct?

Yes, actually I just use the gravity jump to get on top if I'm given the opportunity. Usually sets himself on fire by the time I manage to break 1 crystal on him though.

For the record, that guy is wrong.. im not trying to rile you up at all.
The best thing i can suggest is to go full dark souls and learn when hes about to do the moves. Im not sure how random they are either, maybe you do just get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck unfortunately

It's cool, I get it. Might give it another try later, feel like I already know all the moves from the first 4 golem fights but now they're aoe taking ~25% of my health each time.

But was it not ridiculously fun and you would do it again?

The golem is easy when it is not being buggy. I have now died 4 times in row to some physics glitches. I have clipped inside the golem, I have clipped inside the pillar, I have flown mach 6 to the wall.

I haven't died to the golem single time in any of its regular attacks. All my deaths have been some freak physics glitch. The regular attacks are a joke and barely do any damage.

Is the golem the only boss? I fought 3 of them now.
The dungeon runs for maps are fun because there's variety, but the Dalgarian dungeon feels more repetitive, especially since I fought the same boss in the same room 3 times and some other rooms always appear.
Only difference is what elemental attack set golem may have. Would like them to at least look different, maybe different design around what attacks they use.

They are all the same sadly, but to be honest i didn't expect different bosses, its explained in lore that the golems were meant to be trials for the worthy basically, if you can kill the golems, you get sorcery.

It would make sense that they are able to make the golems, but it would've been nice to fight different looking ones

The hardest part about the golem fight, without any damage multipliers, is definitely getting deleted every time that you get lightly tapped. In my experience, even with damage multipliers at 4x, the hardest part is not dying whenever he moves.

I hide in the back and use fireballs. They're a bit tricky to get correctly but if you're directly above him, on the ledges to the right of where you enter, he'll freeze. You can pick off most of the crystals and then just drop down to the lower ledge or to the ground a decent bit away from him. Something I noticed while on the ground is that if you keep going in circles he'll follow and won't attack until you stop. So if you're decently skilled you can spam fireballs until he goes down. It's the only way I've managed to avoid dying to one shot jank or getting sniped by the fireball aoe.

I never got fire magic but I figured out what to do with gravity. Just have to spam the bubble that slows time and it's a breeze.
