Blade & Sorcery

Blade and sorcery might become the best vr game
It's already my favorite one just with the sandbox, but from the preview, the spells just looks insane
of course there are still things here and there to make the game better, fighting paterns from AI ect ect, but the game has legit the potential of becoming more fun that it already is (Didn't think it was possible)
and honestly it's heartwarming to see the evolution of the game throughout the years

My hopes are up and i'm sure they'll deliver, even if i have to wait another year or more

It seems to be in early access since 2018. Any idea when the full version comes out and what to expect with it?
Edit: Nvm i just read it in the news.

A casual game with no persistency, open world, progression etc could never be on the same level as a game that actually has depth and a persistent, evolving world and player character like skyrim imo.

Too bad it's already better than a AAA vr port of a flawed game (But i still love skyrim) and the reviews/ sales already says it all

I do think 1.0 has the potential to be VR Game of the Year; really has a lot going for it based on Baron's posts! However, if there's nothing in Crystal Hunt that can challenge a powered up player midway—much less a powerless player in the beginning—then all those fancy spells will be quite wasted on NPC fodder.

I don't see the point in comparing this VR action game to the likes of a largely mediocre RPG with stale combat.

Clearly just adding spells won't be enough for it to be the perfect game, as i said it still needs some changes (Mostly on the npcs but that's a challenge EVERY melee based vr games are strugling with) but this shows how good things can and probably WILL look after seeing that much progression

I hope Warpfrog's hiding some real banger content from us. If the Eye sorcerers are actually dangerous, that could be a real treat! Also, there could be monsters in the crystal caves :vlambeerBallguy:

Another rogue like? After playing Asgards Wrath 2...the bar has been raised so far beyond this. It's just too late now.

currently battle talent seems the better game but when 1.0 releases we will all see which is better (though im pretty sure we can all agree battle talent and any other good combat vr game has better enemy ai)

Sorry but no, battle talent has floaty movements, the way to buy weapons/spells is really boring past a few levels, weapons don't feel like they have any impacts on ennemies, you can cut their arms by hitting them in the middle of the chest, the game is good but is so far from where blade and sorcery is even at the moment, and that shows in the review of both game, blade and sorcery just needs better ai and an actual gamemode, but it already has a near perfect gameplay w/o mods, but battle talent has a flawed gameplay from the core

i litterally played battle talent yesterday, not understanding the hype about it, played it for 2 hours again, yeah still don't understand
