Question for modding older versions

[The Real GOW]

So i'm currently installing a mod which requires another mod called (Custom Avatar Framework U11.3 (Support Dungeon And Persistent Player Avatar) HOWEVER i need it for U9.3 and these are all the files ( https://imgur.com/a/TXy6UnO ) so these don't really tell me what they're for apart from a rare select few, is there anyway to find the one i'm searching for if anyone knows? i'm using nexus mods BTW

SAdly, your best bet for finding out with files like this is gonna download.. as many as you can, and just check the manifest file inside the mods folder.. it should open up in a simple notepad application

I'm not too sure on what you mean by that, you mean install and use multiple ones and the ones that don't work will bug out or something? sorry i'm very confused, i'm not too good with this tech stuff

On nexus you can download each file right?
So just.. do that, unzip it **do not put it in your mods folder**, open up the downloaded folder, inside you should see a manifest.json file double click on that and then you should see a "game version" then numbers after it, if the numbers are 9.3, you're good! may also be 0.9.3.0.0 or somethin like that

for the "will 9.0 mods work on 9.3" i.. really cant say, it's been far too long since ive played on 9.3 that i cant remember if the .1 .2 and .3 versions broke mods or not, no harm in trying it out tho!

and for the "will u12 mods work on u9" the answer is no, major updates (u9, u10, u11, u12, etc) all have different ways of doin mods, so only u9 mods work on u9, u10 on u10, and so on

Oh damn ok becuase i wanted this mod here ( https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/4554?tab=files ) which has a mode for U9.3 however it requires this mod to work ( https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/8323 ) however this one only has a U12 version and i was wondering if this was going to work for all older versions since they removed the previous updates, sorry for spamming your inbox you're probably sick of me.

I'm using 9.3 because a lot of my favourite mods are on there which haven't been updated and also it's something about the way their skin looks, it's just something about it seems so much better to me

actually, it doesnt matter what controllers you have! i remember using the mods with a Oculus CV!, which doesnt have grips like an index, its just a required mod

its just adding components for the other mod, you dont *need* an index to use these mods, but its recommended to have them, since you dont get the full "features" without one

I'm probably driving you insane by not understanding it, my controllers are literally the default beta HTC vive stick controllers i'm not too sure who this mod benefits me in any way
