how do i spawn enemies and wear armor?

dumb questions but i havent figured out how to wear armor and spawn enemies (or make them harmless)

To wear armour youll need to be in the base game house, then pick up something from the spawn book, take it behind you towards a mirrow, and flip a lever, take off your current clothes by pretty grip near your chest, head, hands, legs, etc. then put the new stuff on

as for enemies, youll need to go out the rock spinny thingy room, and then go towards the ocean, youll find a dock, go to a map,a nd youll find another book similar to the item spawn book, but for enemies

the lever at spawn despawned for me, help?
