Under no circumstances should you get Nomad if you can get the regular version.
I'd just recommend using Virtual Desktop or the cable instead of getting Nomad.

Well, being honest, it ISN'T that bad, however compared to how the PC version is, it's just not worth it.
Like I said, use the linkcable or virtual desktop and play the PC version if that's an option, if it isn't, just get Nomad, it IS still Blade & Sorcery, just an inferior version.

it seems as if in order to use virtual desktop/airlink properly, i must connect the router to my pc, but i only got one LAN port. and also do i need to have my vr headset in the same room as the router in order for it to work properly?

I do not know, I'm a Rift S user, you're gonna have to look for help elsewhere, I apologize.

Again, I'm a Rift S user, I don't know, I can't give you anything anecdotal from my own experience, sorry.
I'd recommend just googling this.

best hope is the dedicated wifi link coming out "soon" from D-Link. In the meatime, for what its worth, i'm enjoying both nomad and the pc version. nomad is great for getting a good workout wire-free!

i've come to realize i dont have much space in the computer room. also playing the game native is a huge selling point for me. since i can go with it, where ever i want, which is sick.

Nomad's alright. PC VR version just lets you get more enemies on screen, more things going on and more mod support in general

My computer is upstare and i'm in the basement when i stream blade and sorcery in my quest 2.

No cables needed.
Everything works on wifi, but you need virtual desktop on both your headset and your pc. Also, you have to pay 20$ for virtual desktop on one of the 2, don't remember if it was for the pc version or the quest.

Hope it helped. I have both versions and i sometime just play on Nomad even if i have the pc one too.

I might get Nomad and thrill of the fight on Oculus so I can use them in a field. :D Otherwise it is pointless and I'd be buying them as a gimmick..

Other reasons would be going on a trip or playing at friends?
