Zipline pully question

So in the tutorial you get to the point where you are on a cliff overlooking a house and the tutorial says it is easy to slide down the zipline using the zipline pully in your inventory. The problem is that the statement is completely useless information seeing as how the tutorial seems to have forgotten to tell you how to access your inventory.

I flapped my arms around for a good ten minutes trying every combination of button push and arm movement I could think of to somehow access my inventory. Then I gave up and spent the next ten minutes climbing down the zipline arm over arm as I couldn't find a zipline pully anywhere.

Anyone able to explain how I access my inventory? By inventory, the game is not referring to the four scabbard points on your hips and shoulders, is it? If so then that part of the tutorial needs work as you do not start with a zipline pully in any of those slots.

That's the least of the issues my friend, you do realise the game was released and in early access for 4 years? Without a tutorial? I got really frustrated too, as i had to "try" to figure everything out myself.. I think they jus slapped together a "tutorial" to stop people complaining about there not being one.

Quite frankly every "modern" game has a tutorial

Great! You are almost as helpful as the tutorial. Now to get back to my original post. I'll ask again, is there anyone who can explain how I access the zipline pulley that is supposedly in my inventory?

He does this all the time, he's a malignant ♥♥♥♥, pay no mind to him.
Move your controller towards your chest, then press the button used to open the spell menu, this'll open your inventory, from there, select tools, and then you can get the zipline pulley.
For any navigation controls for the inventory, check your settings, you'll find the binds there in UI, I believe?

Of course I do this all the time. It is because I so often get the same response from gamers. You ask a question on Steam and rather than give you a helpful answer you get some unhelpful gamer post some useless comment like:

Apart from the pointless name calling, your reply Bobbio is actually useful. It doesn't solve my issue. It just highlighted the problem with playing the game using an HTC Vive wand. Moving my hand to my chest and pushing a button, (and yes, I tried all the different buttons) simply doesn't work. I will have to wait until the Index controllers I ordered arrive and then I will try again. This game does not work well with HTC Vive wands.

The tutorial most definetily teaches how to use an inventory because that's how I learnt to use it.

It doesn't matter now. Something has messed up with the game and now it is unplayable. When I start it up and get to the menu screen, something is not working. The crystal in my right hand should have a beam of light coming out of it which I should be able to point at the NEW button to start a new game but for some reason it isn't working. I'm just going to give up until the Index controllers are here. I cannot wait as they should improve so many of the games I play.

I dunno. I play with quest 2 set and have no problems in the main menu. Hope you manage to cirucmvent your problems.
