I own this game for almost four years now and progress is not the fastest, but reliable. So many features have been added, some were not even planned but added because of user request (dismemberment for example). It's a small dev team and they keep on delivering. If it were not for early access, WE would have nothing and even in it's unfinished state it's a ton of fun!
Anyway, the game is 20 bucks and well worth the money already, it has been even when i bought it four years ago. If you're not patient enough to wait until the game is developed even further - well, the problem might be on your side. Go play something else or wait until full release (it won't come faster from not releasing the game in early access, you know?).
