so i've waited a long time for this game to go on sale... is this game never gonna be on sale, or did i miss it?

This topic has come up several times in the last years and honestly, i can't quite understand.
The game is litterally the price of two meals at your favorite fastfood restaurant. A 10% reduction would save you 2,5 € (or less than 3 USD). Not worth waiting a single day, imo.
If you take hubby to a pub/bar/Club/cinema you'll likely spend twice the amount on a single night. I got way more than 100 hours of fun out of this game. If it had gotten boring after one night, it still would have been a good bargain.

Yeah it's the price of two meals at a restaurant, but there's people out there that will try to bargain with the place to try to get their food for cheaper or free by claiming somethings wrong with it, etc. Some people just won't pay full price on anything even if it is cheap

or some people would like to buy a game full price but can't at the moment, so they ask if the game goes on sale sometimes to save some money. People buy games on sales sometimes, you know. by the way, i didn't say "devs set the price 50% lower" i've only asked if the game goes in sale sometimes

Just buy it as is it's a great price honestly. I enjoy it so far, also I use mods to enhance the experience well worth money spent. :)

isn't this game "mod free"? as far as i know this game doesn't support mods. how many mods are there?

On Nexus mods website there is a ton of mods to choose from 197 pages of mods.

Np my dude. If you're hoping for a sale, make sure you wishlist the game - if you have the app, you'll get a notification on your phone if it ever does go on sale

I waited about a year or so, too, and no sale (I had other games to play--don't judge; ) Ended up buying the game a few days ago at $20 and don't regret it. So much so that I bought the Q2 version last night so I could play outside and wirelessly easier. So I also say buy it @ $20. That much said, it is a medieval fighting simulator, nothing more (yet), and the Nomad version for Q2, if that;s an option for you, has (slightly) weaker graphics and is now mod-able as well (Go to Nexus Mods and see for yourself). WIsh I'd know that to avoid the double-purchase, but I am happy to support this dev, who seems pretty solo and very receptive to the game's audience. Keep an eye on B&S--I do think it does combat in VR as good as I've seen it yet.

May not be a difficult question but you sound frustrated like you're somehow entitled to a sale. These developers have put in, at this point, YEARS of hard work and are continuing to do so in order to deliver a product that's magnitudes beyond the original scope of the project. They're super supportive of modders, when they could just try and milk us for all the DLC they can produce on the side, but nah, instead they're making an amazingly ambitious game which is currently the gold standard of VR medieval fighting games (and it's becoming more than "just" that with every patch) for LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF A "AAA" TITLE.

I'm a 30+ year old uni student out of a job in a pandemic. I'm bleeding money that I don't even have. I know what it's like to be in ♥♥♥♥ financial straits but there comes a point where you have to recognize when the other party has done their part and it becomes time for you to do yours.

If I sounded harsh in my previous comment it's because (not saying this is your deal here) I'm sick of people being financially clueless or irresponsible and acting like it's everybody else's fault / problem.
