I give up
every time this game updates any mod I had breaks the game. i had so many for 8.4 it physically hurts to lose it all. to make it worse nexus mods doesn't keep track of the mods downloaded so there's no way of knowing whats been updated.

i agree it sucks. but oh well. game needed this update bad. running a 2080ti and a 10920x this game was lagging bad. just played and its like a whole different experience. i can actually crank the settings now
That’s the deal you made when you bought an early access. What do you want Kospy to do, not finish the game because you want your mods to work?

that's what you sign up for when you opt into a beta, expect frequent updates and the quirks that come with them.

That's litterally the point of an early an early access game ????
If you're not happy then quit and go back when the game is finished lmao

did you really expect updates to not break mods??
gurk_mayo Feb 27, 2021 @ 8:33am
just check your download history on nexus lol
gurk_mayo Feb 27, 2021 @ 8:34am
+ there definetly is a way to see what has been updated

while frustrating, temporary minor setbacks in the form of waiting to reinstall mods are well worth long term improvements to the game, which will allow more and even better mods to surface with time

Well people are super fast to update their mods, and the next updates are gonna be huge so you may have time

Just click on "mods" at the top of the nexus site than "my mods" and there is "download history"

Hey guys, you might have glossed over this in the opening paragraph of the news --

This will be the live version until the next big update, and as such this should be a good stable version for long term mod reliability (ie mods made for this version won't break as often as they would in betas). And because I know people will ask - mods should not have broken between 8.4 beta 8 / beta 9 when upgrading to U9.

If you are coming from the latest 2 betas, your working mods should not break. Only mods from the old live version of the game should have broken.

But... It does, as long as you have an account.

You can choose to track specific mods, even if you don't have them downloaded, on top of what other people have said. There's like 20 different ways to keep track of this stuff, lol. you could also just look in your recycle bin or downloads folder if you manually installed them to find the names of them, assuming you don't clean those out on a regular basis.
