Swords of Gurrah is a good PVP dueling game, while the recent Legendary Tales is more Co-op Dungeon explore slash em up. Both seem like great fun if you have friends to play with.
Just make it possible, I think we just wanna have fun, not ultra realistic fights, just have fun with a friend on sandbox and use everything the game gives you.
Unfortunately, there's no "Make Multiplayer" button they can press to make it possible without getting rid of the physics based combat, or most physical interactions. At that point, you might as well be playing Legendary Tales or Swords of Gurrah.
I think we understand, or I hope they do, how much work goes into programming a game. But it is in fact possible to create a game just like this but multiplayer, just watch.. the first dev team that does a game like this with multiplayer is going to have these devs/pubs kicking themselves.
A must play for all VR dueling fans.
In it's current state, this would work for co-op. However - it's not as cut-and-dry as you might think and will take a lot of time, testing, and rewriting of a lot of older code. Not to mention performance optimisations galore, which I'm sure they're working on all the time. I'm a technical artist, this is my gig.
They could probably do it, but it'll be significantly more overhead for them. So who knows? Probably not, but if there's lots of funding etc, maybe?
Try playing B&S seated. That will put you into a hobbit mode, and you'll see what you can do with that.
