Blade & Sorcery

This game needs PVP multiplayer
Something akin to Chivarly or Mordhau (but with majicka of course).

Please devs, please. Or point me to one that exists now. But i think there are only. Even mid-size battlefields with catapults mounted crossbows capture the ever changing objective and/or capture points. Something a long those lines.

Make it happen :D

Or somebody at least link me an actually PVP sword/bow/magic or just sword/bow VR game that has pvp multiplayer.

i just want to warn you that a pvp vr slasher is going to feel bad just simply for the fact that weapon collision and who gets to push whose blade will be either arbitrary or nonexistant

No it doesn't it's doing perfectly well single player. there are already PVP melee vr games out if you just look for them.

You might wanna check out Swords of Gurrah for some pvp sword fighting, though it is more sci-fi swords and so no magic, etc. Also, not PvP, but Legendary Tales is out now and has coop.

I have looked for them and I can't find anything. Do you have any names?

Swords of Gurrah is a good PVP dueling game, while the recent Legendary Tales is more Co-op Dungeon explore slash em up. Both seem like great fun if you have friends to play with.

Just make it possible, I think we just wanna have fun, not ultra realistic fights, just have fun with a friend on sandbox and use everything the game gives you.

Unfortunately, there's no "Make Multiplayer" button they can press to make it possible without getting rid of the physics based combat, or most physical interactions. At that point, you might as well be playing Legendary Tales or Swords of Gurrah.

I think we understand, or I hope they do, how much work goes into programming a game. But it is in fact possible to create a game just like this but multiplayer, just watch.. the first dev team that does a game like this with multiplayer is going to have these devs/pubs kicking themselves.

It's a great game, I've been talking to the devs for months now and they are super passionate and excited for their game.
A must play for all VR dueling fans.

With B+S's current rigging/programming setup in terms of how collisions work for the players vs. other assets, you are correct in this Volca.
In it's current state, this would work for co-op. However - it's not as cut-and-dry as you might think and will take a lot of time, testing, and rewriting of a lot of older code. Not to mention performance optimisations galore, which I'm sure they're working on all the time. I'm a technical artist, this is my gig.
They could probably do it, but it'll be significantly more overhead for them. So who knows? Probably not, but if there's lots of funding etc, maybe?

For the record, smaller opponent can have a lot of advantage, because some attacks will go over their head, meanwhile they can still stab you in the crotch. And for the reach they can pick spears or halberds. In B&S weapons do not scale with the users and stay of the same size.

Try playing B&S seated. That will put you into a hobbit mode, and you'll see what you can do with that.
