Any way to turn off blood?

I turned off dismemberment, but when I looked up how to turn off blood, someone said to go into visual settings where there would be an option to do so. That was from 2019 and I don't see anything there anymore. I would like my younger sibling to play the star wars mod without blood.

Please, refrain from posting "wHy wOulD yOu wANt blOOd oFF??"

From reading the patchnotes, I think it's only an option if you opt into the 8.4 beta version in your game preferences. Not into modding atm so I'm not sure if any star wars mods are updated to 8.4.
Or I might have no idea what I'm talking about, but it could be worth a try.

Delete blood decals, blood-stained weapon textures, and blood spurt files from your game files. Then put them in a backup folder with a note so your remember where to put them.
