Blade & Sorcery

Add a button combo for weapon flipping please
I recommend that you add a button to flip some weapons around in your hand, like the dagger. I love that we can use the trigger button to slide our hand along the weapon, but I feel like I'm missing something when I can't flip the dagger (or axe) around in my hand without dropping it.
Since pressing the grip and trigger buttons together aren't useable to select a spell when holding a weapon, it could be used to flip the weapon in some cases. What do you think?

In my experience it's simple enough to toss it in the air lightly and catch it as it flips. A little more stylish too.

I'm having trouble catching it while moving, it doesn't match my speed when running very well. Standing still, sure. Definitely stylish.

Easy =/= Rewarding.

It's a dozen times more satisfying to nail a toss and flip than to just hit a button. Not to mention button scarcity overall, and how much more holistic the game seems when actions can be done through the physics engine and positioning alone.

If you're looking for enjoyable and rewarding gameplay, then consider how annoying it is when you miss a flip because the game stutters for a second while moving. It ruins my immersion and is a simple motion that shouldn't need you to let go of the weapon at all.

As for button scarcity, I've already recommended an unused button combo. Unless they have plans to use those buttons for another mechanic (like charging your held weapon with your selected spell), then it's just free real estate. Although I would prefer charging a weapon over flipping it, that would be super cool.

Hey, slo-mo is a great suggestion! I never use it for anything and it would solve my problem perfectly. Thanks!

Duuuuude, you are missing out!
Slow-mo not only gives you the advantage of time, but it also amplifies your impacts.
Done properly, you can literally uppercut people over the arena walls.
My favorite is to do a two-hand stab with the claymore, and pitch them over my head like I'm bailing hay. :P
