To ensure you are browsing only through modern mods on the Nexus site, I recommend setting the filter to "Updated" rather than "Uploaded" or "Popular" so you can actually see mods in order of most recently updated. Most mods will NOT explicitly state which patch they are updated to, so this is why searching by "Updated" is your best bet.
If you're pretty sure you have up to date mods and they are still not working, there may be a way through Vortex to fiddle with mod load order if you want to look into that, or some mods may just be too conflicting to ever work together.
That's one of the annoying things about mods for EA games. A little tip for Nexus that I found is that the best way to view mods is not even to browse by the 'new' tab, but to browse by 'updated' tab, because it shows you new mods and also shows you old mods that ware updated and compatible.
