Did you ever try it? how were the chain swingy mechanics?
The mechanics were ok,but i think the chain had no substance, so "wrap-the-chain-around-the blade-to-disarm" and stuff like that wouldn´t work. But it was good fun, although blunt weapons are a bit underpowered in general imo. You hit someone with a maul full force in the side of the head and they go down (right, so far)... and they get back up!?
There were two versions of the flail, one that could damage the player and one that couldn´t. i tried both. All i can say is that if i ever have to use a flail in real life (don´t we all, at one point or another), chances are i´ll kill myself by accident.
I hope the dev will get news of this request and i hope that other people would like a weapon like this in the game
As for U7, there's a kusarigama mod[www.nexusmods.com]. It's not exactly the same but it's better than nothing if a flail is your weapon of choice.
oh cool i will have to check it out thanks.
Let's hope the future of unity and b&s allows for such physics.
