Unless you're under the age of 8 (in which case you shouldn't even be here) where your eyes are still developing, there's no danger at all...
And to answer the question: No...
(...I'm currently 31 and still have 20/20 vision)
I was quite sure they'd end up keeping it. Never had to take back one once it was awarded, before, that'll prove to be an awkward conversation, I'm sure.
Dude....... are your palms...... hairy?
Does VR technically damage your eyes after long sessions? Of course it does! But every screen you look at does too. It's not just VR, if you've ever stared at a display of any kind for a long time, you've technically damaged your eyes. Not playing VR isn't protecting your eyes if your alternative is playing games in non VR. They both damage eyes after long durations. Even if you decide not to ever look at a computer or TV screen again, you can still damage your eyes from other things too! Reading (especially in the dark) is also very bad for your eyes. People have damaged their vision long before modern times, so if you think VR is the worst things for your eyes -- you're very wrong.
go play chivalry, mount and blade or kingdom come deliverance.
there are tons of fantastic melee combat games on PC.
the entire point to this game is how good the melee works in VR.
