Blade & Sorcery

Weapons are TOO Heavy
While I enjoy the "realistic" physics in the sense of adding weight to weapons, I feel it is a bit exaggerated. As someone who owns some of these types of weaponry I can honestly say that you can swing them way faster than the game lets you. I really enjoy the game but I feel like the weight of the weapons either needs to be lowered or at least add an option in the menu to adjust it. It doesn't feel natural to be able to swing a weightless motion controller only to see what translates more as input lag than weight in game. I am often trying to pull off basic sword combos such as aim for the head, then quickly swipe to the feet only to find that the NPC can move 3 times faster than me. I am physically on the ground in real life trying to swipe the leg while my arm in game is still sky high waiting for the "weight" physic to catch up.

Just my opinion.

Same for me. Based of my real katanas between 1/1.1kgs & 600/700g real short Spear or Tomahawk, the games weapons seem way heavier or the game hero is not trained enough to use them. It's probably a reason why slashing is way under thrusting too

you can change the physics rules in the ingame menu

go to settings then to physics. turn the 1st multiplier up to 3.0 leave the 2nd one alone then turn the 3rd multiplier to 3.0 leave the 4th one alone now you will actually swing with what feels like your natural ability and not some floaty limp wristed nancy boy. you will notice you get more cutting hits with these settings. please let me know how it works.

There is an option in the menu to adjust it. It's under experimental and there are a variety of multipliers. Mess around with them until you find what works for you. You can get it pretty close to 1:1 which sounds like what you are after.

I think for most weapons its okay as it is right now, the mace feels a bit weighted, but the axe feels alright. the Saber is just awful. the 2 hander is also kinda iffy but I get it from a balance standpoint, and as for the bardiche, it is possible to swing it quickly while holding a shield if you play with the physics.

Glad that the physics adjusters were provided, as the vanilla makes slashing feel pretty sluggish

The two handed axe whatever its called and greatsword are almost completely useless in slo mo

I will try this. I saw those options but with no real description of what they did, I didn't wanna mess anything up.
