Controls Messed up
Just add an option to switch hands. I am left handed and all I need is a way to switch all the controls from right to left. I am used to controlling my characters movement with my right hand. I used to be able to do that before this updated ♥♥♥♥ed that up. Is there any way to change the movement to the hands or do I have to learn how to play this ♥♥♥♥ing game again.

Anyway you don't need to edit files, with SteamVR you can create or choose another binding from the binding menu. Some left handed binding has already been created for the game.
The only issue now is the default binding is not editable, but Valve is currently working on a fix.

PS: If you are using an Oculus, the option is still there however (you just need to choose the Oculus mode on start).

I think there was something like that, at least for movement and looking. Try digging through options in the "options book".

I also remember reading somewhere here or on reddit that there is now an option to remap B&S controls through SteamVR but I don't remember the details...

Yeah I have also seen that, whenever I press the menu button I can see the control options but whenever I click it it does nothing :/

Okay I finally figured out how to change it. It is in steam vr whenever you open up the game. But it is still a pain in the ass to do. I still think there should just be a left hand option in B&S to just switch the controls and it would be much easier.

Thanks for at least figuring out a temp fix. It was a bit of a shock to play for around 6 months Left hand - Sword, Right hand - Move then suddenly have to figure out how to move using a vive pad(which already sucks) while frantically swinging my arm around and keep my head straight to walk in a kind of straight line

Agreed, the option was already there in previous releases, why remove it? How can devs not take five minutes to consider the experience for people who are forced to play with their weak hand? It's not rocket science. Even jerking off with your weak hand sucks.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thanks for the info. I have created a left hand bind for the game already and it is not hard once you can figure it all out, just a little annoying at first but I guess that is Steam's fault. Thank you for making such an awesome, revolutionary game!
