You're overestimating this games worth imo

No worries OP, no harm in asking! The reason is because the game is in active development right now so you could consider it like everyone who buys into the game at this point is actively pushing forward the development more than just buying a product. The dev is not tryna make money quick and cash out like so many EA titles out there. This is apparent by the fact that when the game sold really well on launch the scope of the roadmap extended hugely and we got things like dismemberment, climbing and in the future dungeon crawling (which is a huge stretch goal), all because the increased revenue allowed him to fund the game longer. This wouldn't have been possible without people supporting the game. I know what you mean though about 10% being a nice gesture but in a way the current price is already the discounted price for people who take on the risk of playing an EA game. The price of the game will increase on final version. You could imagine the game says $40 $20. :steamhappy: But anyway you should totally try it for an hour and return it if you don't think it's worth $20. That's totally valid and I would encourage everyone on the fence to do this if unsure if they will like it!

Kinda have to agee. I actually wanted to buy this, now I'm having a hard time justifying it. Even a small discount would have been better than nothing.

I've been waiting to see if it goes on sale. Been burned before by not waiting through the entire thing cause some developers are late to the party. Really hope my patience is rewarded cause this is the only game I've been holding out for.

With the Index coming soon, this would've been the best time to get some sales coming in. But not even a 10% discount? If people are gonna have to pay full price anyway theres no reason to buy it now while other, better games are on sale.

Really missed an opportunity here devs.
I will say one thing however. Sometimes the sales don't pop immediately. Give it a couple of hours to a day to see if one pops up then.

I doubt it honestly, but we'll see. Or maybe the dev will reconsider. Who knows.

The game is just 20 bucks and gives you hours upon hours of daily entertainment. If you already have a VR setup that means you've burned a bunch of cash already. 20 bucks for a game seems hardly unreasonable. But hey you do you, ya'll are missing out.

A lot of people would just like to know why ? Is that such bad thing to ask why no discount when frankly as good and at this stage really better vr games did give discounts

WTF! No Steam Summer Sale?
This is terribly dissapointing, have had this beta EA game on wishlist for some time, waiting for the sale to happen, and i was sure that it would be part of the summer sale like almost everything else out there, but the devs didnt even bother, greed or just overconfident?

I know they dont have to put it on sale and its up to them, but im pretty sure there was tons of customers waiting like me who waited it out many months for a sale, and now will be dissapointed as well!

Has this game ever been on sale since its release?

I know its in EA and price is reduced anyway but thats not the point here, EA games do still go on sale to help bring in a new user base.
HunterRose Jun 26, 2019 @ 6:31pm
I asked the same question but since its in early access apparently no sale. I still do not think its a wise business decision but I am impressed that this is being made by just one man I think.

Do you want a game or do you want a discount? :)
iKyriousi Jun 26, 2019 @ 10:33pm
The game was worth the $23 CAD I spent on it. Plus it funds the game better, these aren't AAA devs they need the funding to push updates faster.

The Game is even worth more.
I have good arguments why that is.

1. The Game has a physics system that no other VR game can even challenge atm. (Boneworks etc not released yet.)

2. It has Modding support for: Maps,Weapons,Gameplay,Armor,Models/Textures

3. consistent updates

4. Kospy is 1 single developer who even listens to community feedback, which led to the awesome dismemberment system which he didnt initially plan on adding.

So, how could you justify anything less than 20€ which isnt even that much?

Yes this is huge! This is what active Early Access development looks like . Dismemberment, decapitation, climbing and dungeons were all fan requested additions made possible by the sales. :steamhappy:
