Windows 11 Preview Build 22538
Please try the following beta version if Soundpad stopped working on your computer after updating to recent insider preview build 22538 of Windows 11.

  1. Right-click Soundpad in your Steam library -> Properties -> Betas -> Select beta from the available versions.
  2. Steam will automatically download the beta version and display it as Soundpad [beta] in your library.
  3. Launch Soundpad [beta].
  4. Select File > Preferences > Devices from the menu.
  5. Deselect your microphone and Apply.
  6. Select your microphone again and Restart Win-Audio.

Should the issue still persist, then please report a bug with diagnostic data[www.leppsoft.com].

You know what would be great? If those of us who bought this not on steam could also get access to this version somewhere? Please?

The workaround-fix of the beta isn't necessary anymore. The initial cause was resolved by Microsoft in Preview Build 22563 of Windows 11.
