So it has something to do with the attempt to download through HTTPS. If you open up Meowpad in the internet explorer or edge browser, do you see a red or yellow lock symbol in the address bar? Maybe your operating system can't verify or even declines the certificate of Meowpad, although the certificate is valid.
Unfortunately, the error is not wide spread and suggestions to fix it, are really diverse. Reading some of these suggestions,
it may be corrupted files, a firewall or anti-virus which intercepts and manipulates the download attempt. Some people even suggest to use a restore point, which is like taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Sorry, but from the information on the web it is something specific with your system, that prevents the downloads. You are probably better off to search the code on the web and try some of those suggestions, if you are willing to.
