Report a translation problem
I usually either rip my own assets (Sound files for NPCs in games or such) or go through my MKV shows and rip them using audacity through the apropriate plugins for MKV.
Most sound sites these days are just squatter sites sitting on other people's sound files/samples to charge a tight fee or overload you with ads :P
If you really want to look for freebies the only good site off the top of my head would be freesound.

You misread my post. No one WANTS to convert TO MKV. That would defeat the purpose of trying to get a workable soundfile.
