How to use soundpad without a mic

A microphone or any other recording device is required. You can check if there are any recording devices on your system with Win+R > mmsys.cpl
Then switch to the recording tab, right-click the white space in the middle and select that disabled devices shall be shown. If there are any, then you can install Soundpad on one of them and use that device in your voice chats.
If you have none, then you still can get around by installing virtual audio devices, e.g. Virtual Audio Cable or VoiceMeeter.

Does the bottom part still work if i dont have a mic plugged in?

You can download virtual cable, and set it on there. That way you can play musics, audios and etc without picking up your voice, since the mic is not even a real one.
100% helped, I totally did not get a mic within the last 3 years
